When Everything Went Wrong!!!

So I found this lake the other day near my college. The college students like to call it the ‘Crocodile lake’ as its located somewhere deep in the middle of the woods. We decided on Thursday evening about a long drive to the lake. Around 6 people were confirmed on Thursday evening: Aamir & *ahem*, Jeelani & *ahem* and myself and Shirish. Come Thursday 4pm, Aamir & *ahem* were nowhere to be found(even after thousands of calls and smses) and the other *ahem* too din show up. So just the three of us, myself, Jeelani & Shirish decided to go ahead with the ride. Jeelani and Shrish on the RX-135 and myself on the Thunderbird. We left at around 4pm & reached the small opening through which we could sneak into the NICE road only to find a freshly build concrete wall!!! Jeelani wanted to go back home, but I was determined to make something of the evening, so we turned around and drove all the way up to the Kanakpura road end of the NICE road. We paid the toll and started the ride and maybe it was the great road or just the setting that made us crazy, suddenly myself and Jeelani were ripping at speeds of 115km/hr.I don’t know for how long we continued, but I think riding at break neck speeds with the sun setting on one of the best roads in the city(this one is on the outskirts) passing by lakes, fields, farmers and birds returning home relaxes you more than any other form of meditation. We briefly stopped to take some pictures along the road but Jeelani as usual is always in a hurry. Since I was riding alone I took my own sweet time stopping at many points to take pictures and I got some amazing shots too.
We soon found that the road divider extended all the way up to the other end of the NICE road, so there was no way we could reach ‘Crocodile Lake’ before sunset, so we decided to go there some other time.
But just the ride along the NICE road with the cool evening breeze lashing at our faces was worth every bit of the trouble. It was 6:30 in the evening by the time we reached the other end of the road. After that we went to Gandhi Bazaar and there we went to this hotel called ‘Upahardarshni’ where according to Jeelani you get the second best dosas in Bangalore. And that was the day when everything went wrong, not so bad was it.......
